Music
James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils
J.A.M.P.
Founder, Deanna Brown-Thomas, daughter of the Late "Godfather of Soul", collaborated with C.H. Terrell Academy to form the James Brown Academy of Musik Pupils, an awesome melodic educational academy. The Academy is headquartered in downtown Augusta , Georgia the nieghborhood, stomping grounds of the Late James Brown, the hardest working man in the business, JAMP! Is a non-profit musical village which operates solely on small grants, donations and, tuition. JAMPS! Intentions are to motivate, educate and inspire children through the universal language of music and enrich their hidden musical abilities.
Foreign Language
During their school years, children are open to a better global understanding, so the learning of a different language and culture improves that development greatly.
Art Smiths
Children naturally love art-painting and drawing. Unfortunately, when schools cut back on budgets, art classes are usually the first to go.Art is offered to the students of C.H. Terrell Academy twice a week as well as having artistic principles infused in all curriculum.
At C.H. Terrell, we understand kids should be exposed to the arts as their cognitive skills mature so that their right brain will be as developed as the left, and both hemispheres work in tandem, thus achieving the full potential of the mind.
Performing Arts Theater of Terrell Academy
P.A.T.T.A.
The Performing Arts Division offers Drama, Photography and Film Production. P.A.T.T.A's performs Annually at the Cultural Heritage Celebration. Videos and graphic designs are created by P.A.T.T.A.'s Production Company, Eye of the Tiger.
